retreat time

Hi all
Retreat was last week, a whole three-dayer! It was relaxing and creative, I was a bit under the weather... but catching up with all the special scrapping sistas was inspiring and loads of fun (as usual). I created a whole... wait for it... 7 layouts - what a slacker! - anyhoo I had to fit in my hour long massage with Sally and also a 3-hour kip.
Paula had some funky new stuff for me to purchase... yahhh and sleeping with her one night was an experience I will never forget.. not to mention us stirring Eunice like school children xx

I bought an album (shock, horror) and have filled it with layouts that were piling up. Gotta love that I organised that.. now it's the scrap room I have to tackle.

Hey all
had a lovely time hanging with Paula, her two cats, two dogs and daughter. We scrapped some, we ate some and relaxed heaps. I even watched foxtel!

Life is a changin' this year for me, my son, my smallest babe is starting school in 7 days, I am going to cry, through my tears I shall be snapping piccies but I will cry. Hubby just does not get that he has to be there too on Nate's first day of Prep.

I have been scrapping but lost alot of mojo which will come back when I go on retreat which is only 20 days away - yehar, same old place, same old faces - loads of fun and creativity.

It's hot here in Melbourne, this is finally summer, and our air conditioner is broken in one half of our house, so this is why I am awake and blogging! LOL

Hi all - long time no visit... for me..

Christmas has come and gone.. wow it was such a build up and such a stress.

Lots has happened this year, I have been totally lucky to go on 6 retreats this past year and am booked in with very special friends for 5 more next year.

My scrap room is absolutely trashed so not so conducive to actually crafting :(

Helps you create an aged, vintage look on card stock, paper, and more

FYI:
To get an aged look with the distressing ink, you’ll need to mist the ink with water either before or after you apply it to your project. The water will cause the ink to dilute and bleed, resulting in a vintage appearance.
To get a subtle ink stain look, use the flat stamp to apply the vintage ink to your projects. (If you apply the ink directly from the spot to the paper, the ink will look too concentrated.) Dab the ink pad on the flat stamp and rub it over your paper. You can mist the ink while it’s on the stamp and then apply it to your project, or you can apply it to your project and then mist the ink.
You can also use an Aqua Painter to apply the ink directly to a stamped image (be sure to use a waterproof ink like StazOn on your stamped image before colouring it with distressing ink).
The inks work best on paper that has been crinkled or embossed. Crumple card stock or paper into a ball, and then smooth it out. Dab the ink on your stamp and rub it over the card stock. The ink will be thicker on the creases in the paper, resulting in an aged, distressed look. To intensify the distressed look, lightly mist your card stock with water so the ink bleeds. After the card stock dries, you can sand the edges to distress your project even more.

Enjoy the process, there are no mistakes.

bargain fabric - thrifting

Hi all
I got the best bargain today in the St John of God Op Shop - fabric samples - the ones that hang in stores... for next to nothing, now I have heaps of different fabrics to play with on my layouts. I also got Indy her very first leather skirt, it was so tincy, not sure what size it is, but it sure looked small! I was skinny at 16 but doubt I would have even fitted this skirt. I will get her to try it on and then I can post some cute piccys.. I know leather and cute don't go together.. but hey I am a leather girl from wayyyy back.

I bought some yummy buttons today handmade by Nellie G and they will arrive on my doorstep in next couple of days - yeahhhhh.

Important stuff - like the new catalogue released by stampin' up! - it's very exciting and I love the new colours and products.

I have been scrapbooking doing crops at Scrappers Delite (fabo store) and also my girlfriends Jo's house where she has a monthly workshop! all good fun, and I even enticed my best and oldest friend to pop along, now she is NO scrapbooker but we had sooo many laughs, it was great.

I need to get ready for my next retreat which is creeping up - cannot wait, for all of us scrap sistas to get together and do our thang! love each and every one of them :)

Nate turns 5 and a giveaway

Well my little boy turned 5 this week, so it's been huge, well huge for me because I got OTT with themes... he had a little mad hatters tea party to celebrate with his cousins and a couple of friends. I try to keep numbers down so the little people and me don't get overwhelmed :) plus I am sooooo disorganised! Thanks to my neighbour Maria (everyone should have a Maria) my gorgeous mummy, my sweet daughter and a new friend.

I have to post pics later because my computer is still dead - something about replacing the power supply - and I cannot think how to get the photos on via hubby's pc. I know I could do it, but bahhhhh too tired to think right now.

WOW the big wait for June's 3 day retreat with paula and Mishey is now all over :( So great to catch up with all my scrappy pals and laugh, create, eat and drink. These girls rock my world.

Howdy

At the end of April, me and my gal pals went to Mistified with Heidi Swapp, it was the most fabulous learning day, lots of new ideas gained and fun had along the way, great chance for us to get messy and for me to catch up with the gorgeous Nic Finlayson.

I created this layout on my last weekend retreat in Mount Eliza, ME time, which also involved lots of artsy fun, great food and just a little bit o wine.

Loved shopping at paper squared and made sure photos were taken.

Hi scrappy friends, I am sooo excited to have gotten new products from the Autumn/Winter stampin up mini catalogue. It's chocker full of groovy new products.

The first is the new punch, I got the bird and it's sooo cute. the new slimline punch is very sturdy and stacks well.

I purchased the top note die which will be used on my scrap pages, but also good for cardmakers too. It does go through most die cutting machines. I used the cuttlebug with plates b and b and sandwiched the paper and the die in the middle - easy peasy. I have taken photos of my results of cutting through FELT! how exciting, I also bought the buttons sizzlit die, which is going to have me making fake buttons for some time now - a project seeing as we are all sick here in the house with coughs n colds etc.

Howdy everyone, I have been busy going on scrapbook retreat no. 1 for the year and also working extra shifts at work to pay for my scrapbook purchases LOL.

Wanted to share this tutorial with you - it makes gorgeous flowers... just substitute the glitz brand they use with whatever you have in your stash... Best idea for getting old dictionaries or old sheet music is head on down to your local op shop or if you have savers or the like around - perfect.

circle scissor plus

It has been too long since i last blogged but in my defence I was away for most of Jan celebrating my big 40 birthday.

Had to let you all know about a groovy tool that I received today in my order from Stampin' Up! it's soooooo fabulous, it cuts circles... from 1" to 6" including making rings :)

If you u-tube "stampin up circle scissors plus with Dawn" you will find a great tutorial on how to use it. I think it will be a huge success. I absolutely love it. After seeking out different size circle punches it just takes it to a new level - with larger sizes being achieved.

I will go back to the scrap table and finish off my soul scrapper's 1st challenge (Erika Martin's site) and then it's into creating a CIRCLE page full of circle-y fun xx

hello all just returned from the most fabulous week away with some very dear friends. Have loads of piccies I cannot wait to get processed and scrapped.

Love love love Phillip island, it always makes me so happy to visit there. We took the kids to see the penguins, gorgeous little creatures, and also the boys went to see the V8s race and us womens had the most beautiful and luxurious day being pampered at eco resort day spa (a must!!)

Back to scrapping, have just received another groovy parcel from my dear friends at budget scrapbooking... excited to look at new ideas and have some new products to play with.

I joined the six week challenge on paula's scrapbooking place, come along and play.

slack or busy?

Howdy - have been sooo busy working 2 jobs (plus mummyhood) that I haven't had time to scratch myself.

Celebrated my ds 4th birthday this weekend with a charlie and lola party, I made a cake, I know you all scoff but YES, I actually made a pretty fab cake :) it was easy as, an icecream cake hedgehog style - too easy - choc magic is my new friend ;)

Loads happening, still have a space for my artsy fartsy mumma stamp club - so any takers??? let me know in comments and I will PM you... that's if you enjoy girly get together nights and free product! We will be looking at art journals and getting our creative juices flowing not to mention clearing some things that are stored in our brains.

I have been working with another dear friend who has the BEST product (non-scrapping) called STERMIST, it rocks and for all of us mummies (and daddies) I think it's worth carrying in every nappy bag, handbag, bag bag etc. It is a spray that kills germs all organic and made in OZ, for those times when a toilet seat is suspect - spray STERMIST, for when you are out shopping and wanna spray the trolley where you little person sits, for when you are out eating in a public place and wanna ensure little germies arent lurking on your table... Hello friends and new ones too
I have been more than busy, with life, with stuff both bad and good. Went on a CM retreat just two weekends ago with my dear friend Lynno and had a ball, not to mention good wine, fantastic shopping and also a yummy and relaxing massage for an hour! ahhhh scrapping and ME time, love it sooo much.

I have to get myself ready for another retreat this coming fri, I cannot wait, it will be a blast, a whole 3 nights worth of scrapping, not to mention the days. woooo, I just hope I can get over this blasted cold I have somehow gotten, think I was a bit run down.

Went to the fiskars sale in port melbourne, they have them twice a year and there were bargains galore.

I am absolutely loving my granny jeep which is my new scrapbooking trolley, 2 large baskets and swivel wheels - just perfect and less strain on me carrying everything! te he. The best ones are at the Victoria Market, the rest are sub-standard IMHO.

Ok , so I confess there has been lots of photos being taken just no layouts!

Life has been topsy turvy to say the least and I havent even wanted to do any scrapbooking but an opportunity will occur this weekend when I attend the scrap for cancer day at lower heidelberg golf club- cannot wait, to catch up with dear friends and enjoy a day out.

I have had a play with my new tool, the stampin up eyelet border punch, it is so pretty, so will post up a layout after this weekend. I will pack it right now into my crop stuff.

Have been searching and surfing lots of blog sites and also challenges, there are soooo many out there, all these ideas just spin in my head.

Just a reminder to all your star trekkies - that the new movie is out on 7/5 and it rocks!!!!! well worth a visit to your cinema, get tix now if you have to - but go see it. 4 / 5stars.

movies, i-phones and holidays

Watched a thriller/horror movie this morning with hubby - called the uninvited - scary stuff... and may just give me nightmares, that'll teach me, the stepmum character was well cast and the end twist is very reminiscent of M Night Shamalyan movies, the storyline is very clever and I found myself jumpy at work when it got dark and no-one was around. 3 1/2 stars for entertainment.

I was such a lucky and spoiled girly because I know have an i-phone and ooo the excitement begins, yes I am wanting every dang accessory there is to be had, esp. if it's pink purple or glitzy and glam, have searched for hours trying to find on the www a funky speaker/dock thingy to go with it... alas nothing has excited me.

Went to Island breeze resort, Phillip Island this past week with family and had the most wonderful relaxing time, eating and drinking wayyyy to much and taking loads of piccies. The kids stayed mainly in the pool and we had a visit from their cousins on the saturday, whom my kids absolutely adore. I also bumped into Marie and Leesa (http://mariesheil.typepad.com/said_simply/) who were on a weekend retreat, I managed to get 10 or so layouts done so I was very happy, although they do lack journalling, something I will have to rectify.

My favourite photos from the holiday are the cousins in the cupboard LOL and my little guy in the rain on the cowes jetty. Enjoy... AFM x

Hello all

I have been so busy lately not sure where March has gone. We have been celebrating twn wonderful years of marriage (me and hubby) and I have also just come back from a weekend's scrap retreat - oh the fun.

Stampin' Up! has released the long awaited retiring stamps list. It's long but it means NEW stamps to ooh and ahhh over, plus 6 new in-colours. I believe I have blown every scrapbooking budget lately but there are new things to be had, and being an impatient puss, I cannot wait, well there is that, and also that I am going on retreat in two weeks!!! so new products means fun fun fun.

I received an email last night to say I'd won a book from scrapscene, scrapscene is a great source for different products and gorgeous work from all around, I love looking at it, it's always got something worth peeking at. www.scrapscene.com
I think this will definately be my year to win lots. Well I hope anyway. A car would be lovely! ;)
A big month is ahead for us and me, with my 10th anniversary with hubby at the start of march, then off to scrapbook retreat no 1 for the year with Michele and Paula "retreats r us" then followed by a week of drinking eating and swimming at Phillip Island for our yearly holiday. Yahhh

Yesterday was the bushfire memorial day, it was a really nice, fitting tribute, the work is yet to begin for all those communities that will rebuild in the fire affected areas, the pain and heartache will be felt for years.
Go Heath! I am proud that he will take off the Oscar (surely) for best supporting actor, him in a nurses uniform is priceless, RIP heath x

Would you like to help??????????????

I have just had a phone call from my sister and I've gotta say I'm a bit excited!!!!.

A local craft group in her town is running a Card Drive for the Fire Victims.
I am going to run one too. Would you like to join in?????

All you need to do is make some cards or if you have any in your stash made up already. Then you can either pop $5.00 in the card yourself or maybe friends and family would like to give you the $5.00. (The idea would be for the victims to buy something just for themselves)

PLEASE MAKE CARDS BRIGHT AND CHEERY. I THINK SENTIMENTS SHOULD BE SOMETHING LIKE "THINKING OF YOU" THAT TYPE OF THING.
ON THE INSIDE OF THE CARD JUST WRITE WORDS OF SUPPORT AND COMFORT - NOTHING TOO DEEP or RELIGIOUS AS CARDS WILL BE GOING TO ALL WALKS OF LIFE. ALSO KEEP IN MIND TO MAKE SOME CARDS FOR THE KIDDIES - THEY WOULD LOVE TO SEE A BRIGHT CARD TOO.

I will then organize for these cards to be sent to the fire victims. I will not be sending them through the post - I will arrange for them to be delivered to them so they get to the right people.

Melbourne bush fires

What absolute sadness has come over our gorgeous state - bushfires that have claimed too many lives, houses and not to mention animals, I am saddened to hear of all the devastation but cannot switch off from listening, wanting to know more, wanting to know how I can help.
One of my better traits is being empathetic, but with this comes the sadness that sometimes overwhelms me when I hear of such heartbreak.
The beautiful town of Marysville is GONE, a place that hubby and I just visited late last year for a romantic rendeavouz, I just cannot believe that it has been burnt to the ground, I intend to do a layout of our weekend away there, and I will post when it is complete.
Tonight I am grateful, grateful that the fires came nowhere near us, grateful that my extended family and friends in warragul and drouin are safe and out of danger, grateful that I have the most loving family to go home to tonight after work.
To all those who are suffering and have lost, my heart goes out to you.

Had the most glorious morning catching up with my dear girlfriend today Lynno - she and I hit the sale at simply scrapbooking, then onto a fabo kidswear shop Purple Patch where I bought the most gorgeous top for Nate (it's for when we go to Phillip Island) plus it is aussie made! and then onto Lillies on Brougham, a stylish, classy and yummy nursery/cafe where we sat outside had glorious snacks and coffee (all in air conditioning!) then upstairs to a fantastic 75% clothing sale where I clung tightly to a gorgeous white jacket, it's now securely in my wardrobe ready to be worn, worn and then worn again. Of course I asked the lady to wrap it in the tissue wrap I had spied which was black flourish tissue that would be just perfect for cards or inclusion on a scrap page.
Of all the days I forgot to bring along my camera *sigh* so no piccies of us having a wonderful time, just the memories.
Came home to a winning letter - absolutely love those the best, so we will take delivery in a couple of weeks of a water tank, which has been on our wish list.

All in all, today was a great day.... kids played up going to bed but now after several hours they are snug as bugs... it's still stinky humid here in melbourne... but at least our a/c is working TODAY.

Hi Guys,

Sorry its taken a bit long to get the winner announced but here is Melbourne we have had two consecutive days of 43 degrees and I am over it big time. There really isn' t much to do except go to the pools or shopping centres with good aircon. We have airconditioning but its only in our main family room and it's struggling to keep up. So sitting here typing this right now is pretty uncomfortable because I would say it's about 38 degrees in this room with no air flow so I can only stay on the computer and do stuff for 15 min intervals before I get too hot and have to go in the other room to cool down a bit.

Anyway thanks to the 3 ladies who commented I must say for all the lurkers on this blog I was a little disappointed there weren't more comments, but I understand that sometimes it takes courage to comment on blogs if you haven't done it before and time as well. It's just nice to get feedback especially when running a business on line because it's not as easy to gauge what customers like or don't like and often comments are a good way of getting communication back. Plus it's nice to check all your blogs and see who the circle of people that read my blog are so that I can comment on your blogs as well.

The above picture is of my gorgeous son, he is about 9 \months old in this picture, wearing a top from my American cousin Kathy, he is on the toyroom floor and enjoying his fake hamburger, I remember getting down to his level and just taking heaps of photos of him, he was and still is soooo cute, he had hardly any hair at all. This was March of 2006 and we were going on holidays to phillip island, we do this every year with Michael's dad to Island Breeze Resort, I love it there, the kids love the pool and walks along the beach. This year will be Nate's 4th year of family week away with his Poppa Jon and Di... This photo makes me smile.

Life has continued to remain busy, I had fun this weekend celebrating my gorgeous girls 8th birthday, yes it has been a whole eight years since I started my journey as a mummy and Mike and I became a "family". It has been wonderful, gone fast and there have been tears (lots of them mine) and so many happy times, thank goodness I have my scrapbooking to remind me of all the adventures we have had in 8 years. My girl is healthy and happy and that's all that matters, she is loving (sometimes) to her little bro and has such a wide range of different friends.

I have been creating, not as much as I would like - LOL but that's life.

I dont know why - maybe it was the universe, but my last post I could NOT post any photos, will try again.

Life has been quiet - thank goodness, although not last night because my house was a rock band, yep Hubby cannot get off Guitar Hero world tour, he loves it... if it had more bon jovi songs I'd love it too fer sure.

I have scrapbooked a page and got ready for another two, just need embells and sticking down. easy peasy.

Went to heidi swapp class the other day with my sister and best friend and it was absolutely awesome, meet up with all my talented scrappy friends and it was an absolute blast, full on - Heidi is such a gorgeous woman, she is inspirational. Oh and she got me onto distress inks from Tim Holtz - wow am I obsessed!

Have yet to complete my soulology layouts - slacker - I need to seriously knuckle down and get piccies and words onto paper. I have started taking photos of the everyday for the becky higgins 365 challenge go here for details http://kitofthemonth.blogspot.com/ you cannot get the kit at the moment, it's sold out, ah well that will save me some $$$$, but I love the concept of taking a photo every day... it is a good reminder to enjoy the little things we may forget.

hello to all my hoard of readers, not! anyhoo I have been as slack as, or as I like to think - busy as!

I have not blogged in sooooo long its a wonder my poor little blog can stand the attention.

I have been away four weekends in a row,

week 1 was my gorgeous girlyfriends island getaway for her 40th birthday

week 2 we tripped off to warragul and I spent some great time with Marie (from Simply Said) and also family

week 3 dear hubby and I went away sans kids for a romantic weekend in marysville, compliments of winning a competition at my work

week 4 (last weekend) I just got back from the most wonderful scrapbooking retreat with all my talented and drunk friends, or is that just me???

PHEW

I have been slowly chipping away at my soulology project, well I am 3 pages behind... but anyway it is soooo much fun and inspiring, I have joined so many talented ladies in our endeavour to actually search our souls quite deeply and scrap US!!! not kids, not dogs, not partners, not holidays. It has fired me up!

I will post a piccie of my first two weeks when I get a chance.

Well the HAWKS won the grand final and it was a fantastic game of footy! Our house was full of great friends/family, booze, screaming and absolute drunkeness... and that was just the kids! LOL.. just kidding.

Scrap wise - my area had to be packed up and shoved in my back scrap room, not good really I dont walk past and see some little something that catches my eye that gets me wanting to do a layout asap.

I got photos taken recently on a visit to the country (where hubby grew up) my dear scrappy friend Nic took some absolutely gorgeous pirate piccies, this is the start of her photographic career, let me tell you she rocks! I love her eye for detail. Please go to just like heaven blog if you are in Victoria and need some gorgeous family or kiddy pics taken.

I have not been enjoying the school holidays, I can never think of how to entertain the kids, and even when I do, they always want more!

I have posted a few photos of my family, they are my loves and my life.

My Hubby is certainly living up to his vows, he has been an absolute honey while I have been stuck in bed sick as a dog.

Onto happy things... I went to a scrapping retreat the weekend just past (last week) and it was fun and so good to just put all my scrap stuff out and create, not to mention good ol shopping with Paula. Visited Scrappy Hollow in croydon on the way there for the 1st time and that place rocks! It has such cool stuff, I am going there again (with a full wallet *wink*).

The creative juices have been flowing even in my dillusional state of sleep and more sleep coupled with codral tabs, I have been so enthused to create layouts, will post them when I get home from work.

newsflash!!!!! My DD Indy got an acceptance letter today from her audition with the Australian Childrens Choir!!! How excitement. My little angel has been singing (on the toilet and in the shower) since she was a wee 2 year old... she has an angelic voice if she thinks no one is listening.

Will post more details as they come to hand, ahhhh I can see another scrapbook layout or 100 of her singing up a storm.

well the rush was on this morning to get registered for Create 08 with Heidi Swapp in december. I am crossing my fingers that my 9.01 finish time got us in. Having meet Heidi at an inspiration convention in 2004 I am very excited to once again join her for classes, she is one talented lady, plus she loves pink!

Have been frantically trying to find old 35mm camera photos from the 2004 event but to no avail, shall not spend my WHOLE day (kidless) looking for pix, although if I was ORGANISED, then it wouldnt been so hard, ah well another life!

Will be scrapping tonight with my dear friend Sam (pictured above), and after a few reds I am sure that the scrapping will be faster and easier LOL.

Have been going crazy with my DLSR and have finally actually printed out some pix at Harvey Norman, so more to scrap, loving my camera, the pix are very spec. I am attaching a pic of Sam and I which WASNT taken with my nikon but with my panasonic point and shoot camera on the night we saw Batman movie at Crown gold class.

Better move my buttocks and actually do something constructive here today - read: boring.

Well I have been shopping and creating, my two very favourite things, had the best day the other day, got money for nothing, went shopping - spent most of my money for nothing, got heaps o bargains at the FISKARS sale, came home and started creating. Had lunch overlooking the ocean with a dear girlyfriend and her daughter, yummy prawn pizza washed down with verdehlo. Life is pretty good I say.

It was noted by a dear colleague at work that I do not have any pics of my precious indy on this blog, so will make sure I add her piccy... slack mumma I am. She is stunning, has that gorgeous soft skin that anyone would envy.

Today I will be looking at ways to make money, yes I need a bit more of the dollar - so will post anything good that I find, I love to share x

i absolutely love it, My husband pure genius, yes hun you are the best. My son is now BATMAN, well just for his third birthday cd cover, he is one gorgeous little guy... brag! brag!

Had a fantastic day yesterday celebrating the big "3", he had so many lollies and cake and loads of wonderful presents from his nearest and dearest. Our Thomas roundhouse we bought him was a huge hit and he was laying on the floor most of the day, playing and working it all out (from every angle) to then sleeping with his die cast CARS cars... noisy things in the middle o the night I tell you.

Having a great get together tomorrow night for my stampin up! 1st ever stamp club called the artsy fartsy mummas, should be great, especially if our new stamps arrive in time, for more playing fun!

Have had a relaxing morning getting a facial and waxing done at the local beauty school where the 16 y/o took care of me so well. Then had to dash off (read: speed) to get to Indy's school to see her get her PUPIL OF THE WEEK award.

Well today being sunday I am at work, working hard, yeah right I hear you cry, anyhoo I have been going crazy trying to work out family assistance payment and also child care rebates, it does your head in I tells ya... you need a double degree and then some just to even get close to working out who and where payments come from. Anyhoo, I will just cross my fingers for some sort of tax refund.

On a happy note, my son kindly modelled for me yesterday so I could play with my new camera, he is such a sweetie, oh and not to mention very photogenic... yes I am biased.

Went to a gorgeous fundraising trivia night last night, our table the champions came in 3rd, so not bad out of 30 odd tables, and I must say we would have come first had the questions been more our era!!! YKWIM. It was organised through Bunnings warehouse Mill Park, to raise funds for a family in need whose Dad/Hubby has cancer, so a very good cause. I will post a pic of me wrapped up in toilet paper later LOL.

Hello all,
I am extremely titilated this arvo, as I got a digital SLR - Nikon D40, not the newest model but hey I think I will enjoy it as I get to play the whole focusing thing like the old days with our pentax slr. I am hoping to be able to post up some cool shots soon, gotta wait now while the battery pack charges... tic toc!

So when I was getting my camera my DH asked did I want a plasma with that, well sure hon! bring it on, now nip tuck and I can get intimate in my bedroom, the old X-box, (we've been in upgrading frenzy) will be my media centre so Bon Jovi will be singing his heart out in my BEDROOM, that's as close as I will ever get I am sure ;)

Have been trying like crazy to sort out my scrapbooking supplies, I can tell you this is one big job! I am hoping to have a better working room for all crafts.

PS if you like the apron pictured on my blog you can purchase one, they are high quality black aprons with double pockets, for storing all sorts of things when you are in a crafty frame o mind. For $28 and a small amount of postage I can get one to you.

Anyhoo, the kids are on the nag for my attention better get moving.

Am getting to finally enjoy my Wii fit that I won, well between hubby and the kids, plus the neigbours kids hogging it, I hardly get a chance, and just between you me and the fencepost, I am the one who needs it the most ;)

I created a beautiful card last night for a dear friends 1 year old, precious little girl, had fun using my new stampin up! stamps and of course one of my fav products, the dazzling diamonds - very yummy glitter. I will post my pic, although my photographing of it doesnt show it's glitzy beauty. Oh well.

Life is flat out as usual, have been trying to compare the Nikon D40 with the Nikon D60 to see which DSLR I should get, so many differing opinions, think I will need to do more research and have a touch and feel at the camera store. I will keep you posted. I am hoping to get one before my dear son turns 3 in a couple of weeks.

Todays adventure will be me looking for paint and a bookcase with Nate who loves to shop NOT, just like his dad.

Hiya all to all those creative mummas out there, I just discovered in the wee hours that my guru, my lover, my partner for life has been living a secret life, he's got a blog!!! So here is mine because he said "it is so simple". Like my life - LOL

I am a mum, I am crazy, I am creative, I am messy as all hell, I am a good friend and I could keep going but I cant think right now.

I love scrapbooking, its my muse, my thing, I love to buy scrapbook supplies, did I mention I am also a shopaholic *grin* - anyhoo I also sell scrapbooking aprons and stampin up! stamps.

My other passion is competition entering... so far this year I have won lots of little nice prizes, but my recent win was a Wii and Wii fit, something I had been wanting since Mothers day, now just to get on the thing and lose some weight :)

I will attach my latest layout that I created for a mag competition.
